Wozniacki reaches Indian Wells semis

Radwanska, seeded fifth in the 96-player field, defeated No. 4 Elena Dementieva 6-4, 6-3. The second-seeded Wozniacki eliminated Zheng Jie 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.

The survivors of Wednesday's quarterfinal matches are the highest seeded players left in the tournament. No. 1 seed Svetlana Kuznetsova was knocked out in the second round last week.

The other two quarterfinals will be played Thursday. Alisa Kleybanova will meet Jelena Jankovic and Vera Zvonareva will play Maria Martinez Sanchez.

Martinez Sanchez upset third-seeded Victoria Azarenka in the third round.
