'2012' tops DVD sales, rental charts

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending March 7 is "Where the Wild Things Are," followed by "Law Abiding Citizen" at No. 3, "Ponyo" at No. 4 and "Couples Retreat" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Vampire's Assistant" at No. 6, "The Hurt Locker" at No. 7, "Inglourious Basterds" at No. 8, "The Time Traveler's Wife" at No. 9 and "The Box" at No. 10.

"Law Abiding Citizen" is No. 2 on the rental list for the week ending March 6, Rentrak said Thursday.

"Couples Retreat" is No. 3, "The Box" is No. 4,
"The Hangover" is No. 5, "The Invention of Lying" is No. 6, "The Hurt Locker" is No. 7, "Zombieland" is No. 8,
"The Informant!" is No. 9 and "Where the Wild Things Are" is No. 10.
