Randle El returning to Steelers

Pittsburgh -- Wide receiver Antwaan Randle El, a member of the 2005 Super Bowl-winning Pittsburgh Steelers, is returning to the Steelers.

Randle El, who left the Steelers and signed with the Washington Redskins, agreed to a three-year deal with Pittsburgh, the NFL Network said Tuesday. He was released by the Redskins last week.

He has 348 catches, 4,214 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns over his eight-year NFL career. A quarterback in college at Indiana, Randle El has also thrown four touchdown passes.

The Steelers said they also re-signed safety Ryan Clark. He was an unrestricted free agent before agreeing to the four-year deal estimated to be worth $14 million. He previously played for New York Giants and Redskins before joining Pittsburgh for the last four seasons. He had 89 tackles and three interceptions last year.
