Youzhny, whose victory Friday over Rohan Bopanna put the Russians within one win of taking the best-of-five series, defeated Somdev Devvarman 6-2, 6-1, 6-3 Sunday for a clinching third Russia win.
Bopanna took a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 decision from Russian Teimuraz Gabashvili in a pairing shortened to a best-of-three-sets match because the series had been decided.
Russia advances to the Davis Cup quarterfinals in July against either Argentina or Sweden.
Youzhny dominated his match with Devvarman, losing just 15 points on serve and not even facing a break-point situation until the third set. Youzhny broke the Indian's serve six times in 12 service games.
With Devvarman using the tactic of playing form the baseline -- he approached the net just 17 times Sunday -- Youzhny was able to target his shots and piled up 49 winners.
