Fox renews sci-fi drama 'Fringe'

Los Angeles -- A FOX TV publicist has confirmed the renewal of the U.S. network's science fiction drama, "Fringe."

The second season of the weekly series centered around the bizarre wrap up April 1. The show starring Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson has averaged about 7.6 million viewers, Zap2it.com reported.

"Fringe" follows a FBI scientific team that investigates odd happenings around the world.
