The new pact keeps Clutterbuck from becoming a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
The news was well-received by Wild fans, who have adopted the second-year pro as a favorite because of his hitting. He leads the NHL in hits delivered this year and set a single-season record last year with 356 hits.
In 134 career games he has 23 goals and 13 assists for the Wild.
"I couldn't be happier," said Clutterbuck. "There is no other place I would want to be. I love playing here. The team is in really good shape. This is exactly where I want to be for at least another three years."
