Ferrer to meet Ferrero at Buenos Aires

No. 1 seed Ferrer, looking for his eighth career title, dominated fellow Spaniard Albert Montanes 6-1, 6-1 in his second match of the day at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.

Earlier Saturday, Ferrer defeated No. 6 Igor Andreev 7-5, 6-2, in a quarterfinal match that had been postponed from Friday due to rain.

In Saturday's first semifinal match, Ferrero, the No. 2 seed, triumphed over fourth-seeded Argentine Juan Monaco, who also was playing in his second match of the day. Monaco had to finish his quarterfinal Saturday after it had been stopped due to rain Friday.

Ferrer is 5-1 lifetime against Ferrero.
