Lopez beats Robert in Johannesburg final

Johannesburg, South Africa -- Spaniard Feliciano Lopez claimed his second ATP title Sunday, defeating Stephane Robert at the SA Tennis Open in South Africa.

The third-seeded Lopez needed just over an hour to top the Frenchman 7-5, 6-1,
Lopez's title came nearly 5 1/2 years after his only other championship on the tour -- at an event in Vienna in 2004.

Robert played in his first ATP final.

Lopez had reached the title match by eliminating the top-seed, France's Gael Monfils, in the semifinals.
