Federer on top as tennis Top 10 is juggled

London -- Roger Federer remains No. 1 in the world men's tennis rankings released Monday but Novak Djokovic is the new No. 2 and Marin Cilic enters the Top 10.

Federer, from Switzerland, collected his 16th Grand Slam title Sunday at the Australian Open, a result that pushed him to 11,350 ratings points, more than 3,000 ahead of Serbia's Djokovic.

Scot Andy Murray, who lost in the Australian Open finale to Federer, moves from fourth to third as Spaniard Rafael Nadal, suffering from a knee injury that kept him from defending his 2009 Australian Open title, slips from second to fourth.

Argentine Juan Martin del Potro is still ranked fifth, with Russian Nikolay Davydenko in sixth, American Andy Roddick seventh and Swede Robin Soderling in eighth.

Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, an Australian semifinalist, improves one spot to ninth and the Croatian Cilic, another semifinalist last week, goes from 13th to 10th, reaching the Top 10 for the first time in his career.

Federer has been the top-rated player for 268 weeks, tying Jimmy Connors for No. 3 on the all-time ATP list of weeks at No. 1. Only Pete Sampras (286 weeks) and Ivan Lendl (270) have been on top longer.
