Ross Kemp's first novel to be published

Set in London and Afghanistan, "Devil to Play" is about a fictional ex-soldier named Nick Kane. It is expected to be the first book in a series, the BBC reported.

"I am delighted that Ross is joining the Century list," Ben Dunn, publishing director of the Random House imprint Century, told the British broadcaster. "He has an incredible passion and insider knowledge of the military, and his foray into fiction promises to be very exciting indeed."
