Glover, the defending U.S. Open champion who won the SBS last year, has been atop the leader board for all three rounds at the windy Kapalua course and held off a late charge by Geoff Ogilvy on Saturday.
Glover birdied the 18th hole for a three-round score of 17-under 202, one stroke ahead of Ogilvy.
Ogilvy took the lead at the turn after back-to-back bogeys by Lucas and finished the round with a five-under 68. But Glover was able to find his putting stroke and birdied 14, 16 and the par-5 18th.
"I came back a little bit, but I hung in there and finished strong, so I'm pretty pleased with that," Glover said.
Martin Laird was in third place after Saturday's round with a 204. Ryan Moore was in fourth at 205.
