COL BKB: Clemson 72, Boston College 56

Clemson, S.C. -- Trevor Booker's 19 points Saturday keyed a 72-56 win by No. 21 Clemson over Boston College.

The Tigers led 41-29 at the break and maintained a double-digit lead the entire second half. Their biggest lead was 69-48 on Jerai Grant's free throw with 3:45 remaining.

Booker also had five rebounds and four blocked shots. Demontez Stitt scored 15 points and Tanner Smith added 12 for the Tigers (13-3, 1-1 ACC), who have won their last four games against the Eagles.

Joe Trapani's 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals led Boston College.

Reggie Jackson, the only other player in double figures, added 12 points for the Eagles (10-6, 1-1), who have lost two of three.

BC's shooting percentage was just 37.1 percent to 44.6 for Clemson.
