NBA: Golden State 108, Sacramento 101

Oakland, Calif. -- Monta Ellis came within three of his season high point total Friday in leading the Golden State Warriors to a huge comeback and a 108-101 win over Sacramento.

Ellis scored 39 points and the Warriors held the Kings to 15 in the fourth quarter.

Sacramento opened as much as an 18-point lead early in the third quarter before collapsing. The Warriors outscored Sacramento in the second half 62-40.

Ellis made 15-of-29 shots from the field and all eight of his free throws. His season-best total of 42 came at San Antonio Nov. 25. He put the Warriors in front for good at 100-99 Friday by hitting a layup with 3 minutes to play.

Corey Maggette added 24 for the Warriors, who won their second in a row and opened a seven-game homestand.

Sacramento was led by Tyreke Evans with 25.
