NHL: Vancouver 5, Calgary 1

Calgary, Alberta -- Vancouver's Mason Raymond scored his first NHL hat trick Sunday and the Canucks whipped the Calgary Flames 5-1.

Two of Raymond's goals came within a span of 34 seconds in the second period.

Henrik Sedin and Kyle Wellwood posted the other goals for Vancouver, which has won three in a row.

Canucks' goalie Roberto Luongo made 29 saves.

Jarome Iginla scored Calgary's goal.

The Flames used two goalies. Miikka Kiprusoff allowed four goals and stopped nine shots and Curtis McElhinney turned in 15 saves.

Calgary has lost six of seven.
