COL BKB: Portland 61, Minnesota 56

Anaheim, Calif. -- T.J. Campbell scored 23 points Friday and hit two free throws with 3 seconds remaining that clinched a 61-56 win for Portland over No. 22 Minnesota.

The Pilots (5-0) reached the championship game of the 76 Classic, where they will meet eighth-ranked West Virginia.

Portland followed up its shocking 74-47 triumph over UCLA by limiting the Golden Gophers to 33 percent shooting from the field. The Pilots held Minnesota to two points over the final 3 minutes.

Robin Smeulders added 13 points for Portland. Al Nolen led Minnesota with 13.
Minnesota made just 3-of-19 tries from 3-point range.
