Grain futures mixed Tuesday

Corn was off 10 3/4 to off 11 1/4, soybeans were up 4 to up 6, wheat was off 24 1/4 to off 25 and oats were up 1/4.
Corn futures closed lower with scattered rain expected to delay an already slow harvest. Wheat futures dropped with prices aligning themselves closer to markets in Europe and Australia. In South America, Argentina is receiving welcome rain on soybean crops, while too much rain is a concern in Brazil.

Corn: Dec 3.76, off 11 1/4; Mar 3.92, off 11 1/4; May 4.02, off 11 1/4; Jul 4.10 1/2, off 10 3/4.
Soybeans: Jan 10.46, up 4; Mar 10.52, up 4 1/4; May 10.54 1/4, up 5; Jul 10.58 1/2, up 6.
Wheat: Dec 5.33, off 24 1/4; Mar 5.33 1/2, off 25; May 5.66 1/4, off 24 3/4; Jul 5.76 1/4, off 24 1/4.
Oats: Dec 2.57 1/2; Mar 2.71; May 2.79 1/4; Jul 2.86 3/4 -- all off 1/4.
