NBA: Dallas 104, Sacramento 102

Dallas -- Four free throws by Jason Terry in the final 18 seconds Friday allowed Dallas to survive a frantic Sacramento rally and defeat the Kings 104-102.

Terry made two foul shots with 18 seconds to go to give the Mavericks a seemingly comfortable 102-94 lead, but Sacramento got a layup from Beno Udrih and a 3-pointer from Tyreke Evans to close within three points.

Terry then hit two more free throws with 1.6 seconds remaining, which the Mavericks needed after Omri Casspi made a 3-point shot just before the buzzer.

Dallas won its fifth straight and opened a three-game lead over Houston atop the Southwest Division.

Terry scored 20 points, as did Dirk Nowitzki. Kris Humphries added 15 off the bench.

Evans led Sacramento with 29 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. The Kings have lost in each of their last 12 trips to Dallas.
