COL BKB: Michigan 77, Houston Baptist 55

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- Manny Harris helped Michigan bounce back from a slow start Friday and the No. 16 Wolverines pulled away for a 77-55 victory over Houston Baptist.

Michigan trailed by a point with 7 minutes to play in the first half before going on a 24-11 run.

Harris scored 25 points to go with eight rebounds and DeShawn Sims made 5-of-8 from 3-point range en route to a 22-point effort. Sims hit back-to-back 3-pointers during the key Michigan run.

The Wolverines improved to 2-0 and Houston Baptist fell to 0-4. Mario Flaherty scored 17 points to pace the Huskies.

Michigan built as much as a 28-point lead in the second half in the first meeting between the schools.
