Crude oil prices slide Friday morning

Light, sweet crude dropped 63 cents overnight to $76.83 per barrel. Heating oil lost 0.201 cents to $1.9763 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices fell 0.0065 cents to $1.963 per gallon. Natural gas prices dropped 0.055 cents to $4.287 per million British thermal units.

At the retail level, gasoline prices rose. The national average price for unleaded gasoline was $2.642 per gallon Friday, up from Thursday's $2.638, AAA said.
