Courageous Cat was second, a half-length back, and Justenuffhumor finished third, a head in front of Court Vision.
Goldikova, a 4-year-old, Irish-bred daughter of Anabaa, ran the 1 mile on firm turf in 1:32.26 with Oliver Peslier riding for trainer Freddie Head.
Drawn in the outside, No. 11 stall, Goldikova was forced wide during the first run down the stretch and settled near the rear of the field down the backstretch. When asked to run, she advanced between horses, wove through some traffic and was just up in time to catch Courageous Cat in the final yards.
The 7-5 favorite, Goldikova paid $4.80 to win.
Goldikova now has 10 wins from 15 lifetime starts.
Thirteen of those have come in France. The other two are victories in the Breeders' Cup Mile. In last year's running, she was closer to the pace but also had to overcome traffic problems for the win.
