TMZ reported Chidi Uzomah was taken into custody shortly after he allegedly showed up with a knife to the building where Seacrest works as a correspondent for the E! entertainment news program.
Uzomah also allegedly went looking for Seacrest this month at the Burbank station where his radio program tapes, TMZ noted.
Seacrest reportedly was granted a temporary restraining order against Uzomah, who was being held on a felony stalking charge.
Uzomah pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors last month after he attacked Seacrest's bodyguard at a hospital with a knife in his pocket in a separate incident, TMZ said, adding one of the terms of the man's probation was that he stay away from Seacrest.
