Los Angeles -- Dustin Brown and Jarret Stoll each had two goals Saturday to lead the Los Angeles Kings past the Phoenix Coyotes 5-3.

Wayne Simmonds chipped in what proved to be the game-winner in the third period for the Kings' third consecutive win.

Shane Doan scored two goals for Phoenix and Radim Vrbata added the other.

Jamie Quick made 30 saves for Los Angeles while Ilya Bryzgalov notched 16 for Phoenix.

After Simmonds scored at 9:12 to put the Kings ahead 4-2, Doan tallied at 12:30 to pull the Coyotes to within one.

Phoenix pulled Bryzgalov in the closing minute, but they were hit with a penalty for too many men on the ice with 63 seconds to play. The Coyotes continued to attack, but Quick stood fast and Brown knocked in an empty-net goal as the horn sounded.
