Stocks fell during four of five trading sessions last week, shaking up confidence in what had been a six-month rally.
On Monday, the price of light, sweet crude fell 94 cents to $69.01 per barrel.
Heating oil prices lost 0.0295 cents to $1.7673 per gallon, while reformulated gasoline prices fell 0.0199 cents to $1.721 per gallon. Natural gasoline prices added 0.166 cents to $4.884 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average national price of unleaded gasoline was $2.461 per gallon Monday, unchanged from Sunday, AAA said.
