MLB: Toronto 3, Minnesota 2

Toronto -- Adam Lind's sacrifice fly Thursday boosted the Toronto Blue Jays to 3-2 win over the Minnesota Twins.

The sac fly broke a 2-2 tie with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. Lind also hit an RBI double in the first.

Jose Bautista slammed solo homer in the fourth inning to account for the other run for the Blue Jays, who split the four-game series.

Winner Brett Cecil (7-4) gave up two runs and seven hits in six innings. Jason
Frasor earned his eighth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Denard Span hit a solo homer and Orlando Cabrera also drove in a run for the
Twins, whose American League wild-card hopes suffered a serious blow.

Losing pitcher Scott Baker (13-8) surrendered three runs on five hits and four walks in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out seven.
