Kansas -- Billy Butler had two home runs and four RBI Monday to lead the Kansas City Royals to a 6-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

Mike Jacobs and Alberto Callaspo each had RBI singles for Kansas City, which got only its second victory in its last seven games.

Kyle Davies (7-9) earned the win after allowing a run on five hits in five innings. It was his fourth win in his last five decisions.

Bobby Abreu had a solo homer and Kendry Morales and Torii Hunter each drove in a run for the Angels, who are five games in front of Texas for the top spot in the American League West.

Ervin Santana (7-8) took the loss after allowing five runs on nine hits.
