Wolf drove in both Los Angeles runs, and the Dodgers took advantage of a key error to win their second in a row.

The Dodgers, who have seen their once-large lead in the National League West steadily shrink, boosted their advantage over second-place Colorado to 4 1/2 games.

The Cubs' only hit came in the third inning and produced their only run. Sam Fuld drew a one-out walk off Wolf (8-6), was sacrificed to second and scored on a single by Ryan Theriot.

Jonathan Broxton struck out two in the ninth for his 27th save.

Randy Wells (9-6), the hard-luck loser, gave up two unearned runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings.

Los Angeles scored twice in the second, thanks to a key fielding mistake. With Russell Martin on first and two away, third baseman Aramis Ramirez botched a grounder by Orlando Hudson.

Wolf followed with a double to center, scoring both runners. He has driven in 11 runs this year, equaling a career single-season high.

Chicago missed a chance to gain ground on division-leading St. Louis and remained seven games back in the National League Central.
