MLB: Milwaukee 6, San Diego 1

San Diego -- Felipe Lopez hit a key three-run double Sunday, helping the Milwaukee Brewers record a 6-1 win over the San Diego Padres.

The hit was part of a five-run inning, giving Milwaukee a 5-1 lead with two out in the top of the seventh.

Craig Counsell had two hits and one RBI and Frank Catalanotto had one RBI for the Brewers, who averted a three-game sweep despite getting just six hits.

The winner was reliever Mitch Stetter (3-1) after starter Carlos Villanueva yielded two hits in five scoreless innings.

San Diego's run scored on a sixth-inning double by Adrian Gonzalez. Everth Cabrera had two of five hits for the Padres, who had their five-game winning streak snapped.

Losing pitcher Kevin Correia (7-9) yielded three runs and just two hits in 6 1/3 innings.
