Radnor finishes shooting 1st feature

New York -- U.S. actor Josh Radnor has completed principal photography on his feature film directorial debut, "HappyThankYouMorePlease," the movie's producers said.

Paper Street Films/Tom Sawyer Entertainment made the announcement Tuesday.
Radnor, a star of TV's "How I Met Your Mother," penned the screenplay for
"HappyThankYouMorePlease" and co-stars in it along with Richard Jenkins, Malin Akerman, Kate Mara, Zoe Kazan, Pablo Schreiber and Tony Hale.

"The weather cooperated, the crew was tireless and professional, and the cast was amazing. But truth be told, the director drove me crazy," Radnor joked about the experience.

The film is described in a news release as being about six New Yorkers "dealing with love, friendship, and gratitude at a time when they're too old to be precocious and not ready to be adults."

"Josh Radnor has crafted a story that is incredibly funny and poignant at the same time," producer Jesse Hara said in a statement. "We feel honored to bring such a fresh and original voice to the screen."
