St. Louis -- Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki and Florida's Hanley Ramirez were given lead-off duties for the American League and National League teams in Tuesday's All-Star Game.

American League Manager Joe Maddon, of the Tampa Bay Rays, and National League Manager Charlie Manuel, of the Philadelphia Phillies, announced the batting orders for the game in a news conference Monday.

The All-Star Game is set for Tuesday night in Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
Maddon will send New York's Derek Jetter up second followed by Minnesota's Joe Mauer and the Yankees' Mark Teixeira. Boston's Jason Bay will bat fifth with Texas' John Hamilton sixth, Tampa Bay's Evan Longoria seventh and Toronto's Aaron Hill eighth.

The Blue Jays' Roy Halladay will pitch and bat ninth.

After Ramirez, the National League will have Philadelphia's Chase Utley and St. Louis' Albert Pujols with Milwaukee's Ryan Braun hitting cleanup. Raul Ibanez, in his first season with Philadelphia, was put in the fifth spot ahead of New York's David Wright. The Phillies' Shane Victorino is hitting seventh and the Cardinals' Yadier Molina is eighth.

Tim Lincecum, from the San Francisco Giants, is the starting pitcher and is to hit ninth.

The 80th All-Star Game is to be televised by Fox Sports beginning at 8 p.m. EDT. Part of the pregame activities will feature U.S. President Barack Obama throwing the ceremonial first pitch to Pujols.
