MLB: Cleveland 15, Oakland 3

Cleveland, July 3: Shin-Soo Choo put on a one-man show Friday with two home runs, seven RBI and four runs scored in leading the Cleveland Indians to a 15-3 bashing of Oakland.

Choo had four of Cleveland's 15 hits, allowing the Indians to halt a five-game losing streak. It was only their third win in 16 games.

Cleveland overcame an early two-run deficit and took the lead with a three-run third, during which Choo had an RBI single. Choo doubled home two more during a four-run fourth, and then hit a three-run homer in the fifth and a solo shot in the seventh.

He also stole a base, his 13th in 13 tries this season.

Travis Hafner added a solo home run for the Indians and Asdrubal Cabrera had three RBI.

Rookie David Huff (4-3) collected the win with a six-inning effort. He gave up three runs on eight hits while winning for the fourth time in his last five starts.

Oakland has dropped seven out of nine. Trevor Cahill (5-7) absorbed the loss by giving up eight runs on six hits in 3 2/3.
