Anaheim, Calif. June 25: Vladimir Guerrero and Bobby Abreu drove in three runs each Wednesday and the Los Angeles Angels scored the game's first nine runs in mauling Colorado 11-3.

The Rockies lost their second straight after having won 17 out of 18.

Guerrero singled in a run in the first and then scored on a single by Kendry Morales. Guerrero added a two-run homer in the second.

Abreu had an RBI double in the second and produced a two-run homer in the eighth.

Joe Saunders (8-4) benefited from the offense to get the win, allowing a run on four hits over six innings. Jason Marquis (9-5) survived only 3 1/3 innings while being tagged for seven runs on nine hits.

The Angels have won nine of their last 12 meetings with the Rockies.
