MLB: Milwaukee 9, Cleveland 8

Cleveland, June 18: J.J. Hardy delivered a sacrifice fly in the 11th inning Wednesday, boosting Milwaukee to a wild 9-8 win over Cleveland.

The Indians tied the score with four runs in the ninth, but the Brewers scraped together a run in the 11th to complete a three-game inter-league series sweep.

Prince Fielder singled off Greg Aquino (1-2) with one away in the 11th, Corey Hart drew a walk and both runners moved up on a passed ball. Mike Cameron was intentionally walked to load the bases, after which Hardy lifted his sacrifice fly to center.

The Indians never led, but they rallied from a three-run deficit to tie it in the fourth, then fell behind again before forcing extra innings with a big ninth. That inning featured a three-run double by Ryan Garko, who also doubled home a run in the fourth.

Corey Hart had three RBI for Milwaukee -- coming on a single in the third, a double in the seventh and a solo homer in the ninth.

The win went to Mark DiFelice (4-0), who gave up a hit over 1 1/3 innings. Mitch Stetter struck out the only two men he faced in the 11th to earn his first save.
