The Phillies won twice in a three-game series and moved four games in front of the Mets at the top of the National League East.
Philadelphia overcame a two-run deficit in the late innings and then came up with a big hit in the 10th.
Bobby Parnell (2-2) retired the leadoff man in the 10th, but gave up a single to Shane Victorino and was replaced by Ken Takahashi. Chase Utley promptly walked on a 3-1 pitch and, after Ryan Howard struck out, Ibanez hit a 1-1 offering over the wall in right. It was his 21st home run of the season.
Ryan Madson came on the bottom of the 10th to earn his fourth save and protect the win for Scott Eyre (1-1).
The 37-year-old Eyre threw only two pitches, but they were enough to retire the final batter in the ninth.
Carlos Beltran drove in all three New York runs with a groundout in the first, a double in the third and a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
