Garcia-Lopez wins Austrian Open

Kitzbuhel, Austria. -- Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez rallied Saturday and beat Frenchman Julien Benneteau in the final of the Austrian Open in Kitzbuhel.

Garcia-Lopez downed Benneteau 3-6, 7-6 (7-1), 6-3 in the first title match of his career.

The French Open tuneup victory was worth $100,000 to Garcia-Lopez.

"I think it's the best moment in my career," he said. "I played in my first final and I won. It's an unbelievable feeling and so happy to win my first title. Once I won the second set tie-break I thought I had a very good chance to win the match. There was only one set left and I thought I had to fight and fight until the end."

"Of course I'm disappointed," the 45th-ranked Benneteau said. "It was a very long week (and) he was very strong."
