Bondarenko, qualifier gain title match

Warsaw -- Ukrainian player Alona Bondarenko, seeded No. 8, and underdog Romanian qualifier Alexandra Dulgheru won their semifinals matches Friday in the Warsaw Open.

Bondarenko topped Britain's Anne Keothavong 6-2, 7-5 and Dulgheru knocked out the No.6 seed, Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 6-1.

The 24-year-old Bondarenko, and Dulgheru, 20, who is ranked No. 201 in the world, will meet Saturday for the title.

The clay-court tournament is considered a tuneup for the French Open, which begins Sunday.
