MLB: LA Dodgers 3, NY Mets 2 (11 inn)

Los Angeles -- Two errors in the 11th inning -- 5 in the game -- plus a base-running mistake by the Mets helped Los Angeles to a 3-2 win over New York Monday.

At first glance, Ryan Church appeared to score what would have been the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th. But the Dodgers argued he had missed third base, and the umpires agreed. They called him out.

In the bottom half of the inning, the Dodgers loaded the bases with no one out after Angel Pagan and Carlos Beltran allowed a ball to fall between them.

LA's Orlando Hudson ground into what should have been an inning-ending double play, but first baseman Jeremy Reed tossed a wild throw to home plate, and Mark Loretta scored the winning run.

Ramon Troncoso (1-0) scored the win for pitching the final two scoreless innings.

Brian Stokes (1-2) was the loser after pitching the final 1 1/3 innings and falling victim to his team's errors.
